We believe in a way of doing business that creates value, today and for the future

Listening to everyone who interacts with the Group – employees, communities, customers, and partners – has enabled us to identify more precisely the issues on which to focus our resources and attention across all ESG areas: Environment, Social, and Governance.

CEO – Cardinali Holding
Our Commitment
We do not grow alone. We grow by creating value around us.
We believe in a way of doing business that goes beyond financial performance. Every decision we make is guided by the desire to generate a positive and lasting impact for people, communities, and the environment in which we operate.
For us, sustainability is not a goal to be achieved, but a principle that guides our development. It is a tangible journey, built over time, which today takes shape through measurable actions, projects, and results.

With this Sustainability Report, we present the results of a year of concrete ESG work. It is not merely a reporting exercise: it is the way the Group measures itself, verifies the consistency between intentions and actions, and shares both the progress achieved and the challenges that still lie ahead.

Values
We were founded on clear values. Today, we turn them into concrete actions.
Our identity is built on principles that guide every decision: reliability, innovation, respect for people, and environmental responsibility.
These values are not mere statements; they are reflected in everyday behaviors and decisions. Our credibility stems from this consistency.
A way of doing business that combines continuity with the ability to evolve, always maintaining a balance between growth and responsibility.
Our Values
01
Reliability
Reliability is not simply a declaration of intent for the Cardinali Group; it is the result of decades of consistent decisions. Over time, the Cardinali family has built its reputation on a simple and enduring principle: keeping its promises to customers, partners, employees, and local communities.
This strength is reflected in the transparency with which the Group manages its activities, in the continuity of a family-led governance model that has evolved without losing sight of its founding values, and in a solid financial and economic structure built with balance over the years.
A credibility that is not claimed, but demonstrated over time—and which today represents one of the Group’s most valuable assets.
02
People
For the Cardinali family, business is first and foremost about people. It is this vision that inspired Vito Cardinali to establish the family companies: the conviction that the true value of a business lies in the women and men who contribute to its success every day.
For this reason, the Group promotes a dynamic and participative working environment in which every employee can feel actively involved in the company’s growth.
Continuous training, talent development, and professional growth are central elements of the daily experience of the more than 200 people who work within the Group.
03
Innovation
The entrepreneurial spirit of the Cardinali family has always looked ahead, combining experience, vision, and the ability to evolve. From the intuition of founder Vito Cardinali to the leadership of Stefano Cardinali, innovation has remained a cornerstone of the Group’s development.
The constant pursuit of new solutions, together with ongoing investments in research and development, has enabled us to build a solid, competitive, and future-oriented business.
A journey that creates value not only from an economic perspective, but also for people, local communities, and society as a whole.
04
Sustainability
For the Cardinali Group, sustainability is a tangible commitment reflected both in strategic decisions and in the daily activities of the Group’s businesses.
This vision gave rise to Podere Vito Cardinali, an agricultural company that represents the most authentic expression of our commitment to the environment, local communities, and natural resources.
At the same time, the Group’s industrial companies, including A.D. Tubi Inossidabili and CPC INOX, adopt sustainability-oriented practices and processes through investments, production innovation, and responsible resource management.
An integrated approach that combines industrial development, respect for the land, and care for future generations, with the goal of generating lasting value—not only economic, but also environmental and social.

Creating Value
We believe in growth that benefits everyone
We recognize the strategic importance of maintaining a strong, traceable, and responsible value chain, within which we play a central role by transforming raw materials into highly engineered products and serving markets that demand quality, reliability, and sustainability.
We feel responsible for creating an impact that extends beyond the boundaries of our company and reaches all stakeholders: employees, partners, and communities.
We believe growth is truly sustainable only when it is shared. For this reason, we invest in people, relationships, and opportunities, contributing to the development of the environment in which we operate.

Bringing Our Values to Life
We turn our principles into concrete projects
Our values take shape through initiatives that make our commitment tangible.
Projects that combine entrepreneurial vision with responsibility, generating real and lasting impact.
The consistency of a company is measured through the actions it takes. For us, sustainability means exactly that: turning principles into reality through everyday decisions.

best ESG projects

Our ESG Priorities
We have made sustainability part of our decision-making process
We have structured our sustainability approach by integrating ESG criteria into our decision-making processes and corporate governance.
A journey that enables us to clearly identify priorities and guide our actions with awareness and purpose.
On December 18, 2024, we strengthened our commitment to responsible and sustainable growth through the establishment of the Sustainability Committee, an internal advisory and operational body responsible for designing, implementing, and developing the Group’s ESG projects.
Through our Double Materiality Assessment, we identify the issues that are most relevant both to our business and to our stakeholders, transforming them into practical guidelines for future development.

People at the center, in practice
In 2025, Cardinali Holding employs 244 people, including 33 women and 211 men, reaffirming the strategic importance of people in the Group’s growth.
Employment stability continues to strengthen, with permanent contracts accounting for 95.9% of the workforce, reflecting an organizational model focused on continuity and talent development.
The overall turnover rate decreased from 18.2% in 2023 to 15.16% in 2025, demonstrating improved employee retention and the effectiveness of our well-being, engagement, and internal growth policies.
Training remains a key investment: in 2025, average annual training hours amounted to 11.5 hours for women and 8.0 hours for men, supporting continuous skills development.
Significant results were also achieved in occupational health and safety. In 2025, only one workplace accident was recorded, with a frequency rate of 2.54 and a severity rate of 0.02—the lowest level of the three-year period.
This achievement confirms the effectiveness of investments in prevention, training, and safety culture.
Impact and Communities
We build relationships that create value for communities
Our commitment extends beyond the boundaries of our business through continuous dialogue with local communities and support for organizations that contribute to collective well-being.
We believe the value of a company is also measured by its ability to foster positive relationships, support meaningful initiatives, and contribute to the social, cultural, and environmental development of the areas in which it operates.

Supporting those who create impact every day
In 2024, we took a significant step in formalizing our commitment to communities through the establishment of the Vito Cardinali Foundation ETS, a non-profit organization promoted by Vito and Stefano Cardinali.
The Foundation represents the structured evolution of a social responsibility approach deeply rooted in the Group’s history and serves as the vehicle through which our commitment to communities gains autonomy, operational continuity, and a long-term perspective.
We collaborate with sports associations, third-sector organizations, and institutions engaged in research, culture, and environmental protection, including ASD Briantea 84, AIRC, FAI, WWF e il progetto ForestaMI.
Through these partnerships, we contribute to building a more inclusive, responsible, and future-oriented ecosystem.
Vito Cardinali Foundation ETS
Giving back is not a choice. It is our responsibility.
In 2024, this commitment took an even clearer form with the establishment of the Vito Cardinali Foundation ETS.
Through the Foundation, we have chosen to give structure, continuity, and perspective to our commitment toward society.
The Foundation strengthens Cardinali’s commitment across three key areas: supporting people and communities facing vulnerability, protecting and enhancing local territories and promoting environmental projects.
An approach that looks to the future responsibly, starting from local actions and creating shared value over time.

Governance and Responsibility
We operate with transparency and accountability to build trust over time
Our governance structure is designed to ensure consistency between strategy, actions, and results.
The active involvement of oversight bodies and the integration of ESG topics into decision-making processes ensure a robust and responsible approach.
Transparency, integrity, and responsible risk management are at the core of the way we operate and represent essential elements for building long-term trust.

Giving back value to the society and environment in which we operate is not merely a desire, but a moral duty that each of us should embrace.
Vito Cardinali
President, Cardinali Holding

Looking to the future responsibly. Together.
This journey tells the story of who we are today, but above all of what we aim to continue building in the years ahead.
